Who Can Apply?
- Registered 501(c)(3) non-profits, public schools (DCPS & Charters), or community-based organizations.
- Projects must provide a direct benefit to residents of ANC 7B.
- Organizations are limited to one (1) approved grant per fiscal year.
The 5-Step Process
1. Prepare Your Application
Download Form 100 and the Budget Template. Be specific—list individual items rather than broad categories. The application should be sent to the general OANC email address: oancs@dc.gov with a carbon copy (CC) to all 7B Commissioner and the commission’s generic email: 7B@anc.dc.gov .
2. Submit by the Deadline
Deadlines are Jan 1, April 1, July 1, and Oct 1. Early submissions are encouraged.
3. Present to the Commission
Attend the next public meeting for a brief 3-minute presentation and Q&A session.
4. Receive Initial Funding (75%)
Upon approval, 75% of funds are disbursed via Bill.com or paper check.
5. Final Report & Remaining Funds (25%)
Submit your close-out report and receipts within 60 days to receive the final payment.

- Marketing for local programs
- Project-specific fees
Prohibited Expenses ❌
- Fundraising or Political activity
- Direct aid to individuals
- Food & Drink (except as incidental)
- Recurring rent or utilities
